Annual General Meeting

The annual general meeting of Deutsches Studentenwerk is its most important institutional body. Once per year, representatives of all 57 Studentenwerke meet in Berlin.

The annual general meeting is empowered to decide on general directives for the organisation’s work, approve the budget and appoint as well as dismiss or discharge members of the executive board and the secretary general. Each Studentenwerk represents a certain number of votes depending on the number of students who pay the semester fee to their respective Studentenwerk.
